about the program

Our job shadowing experiences are organized combining intensive days in local schools (mornings) and other intercultural activities, such as workshops, excursions and visits to other schools, companies and institutions.

JUMP works in close cooperation with school directors and teachers who are happy to welcome international colleagues.

Our job shadowing programs are designed to satisfy different learning needs depending on the school level, the goals of the Erasmus projects and specific subjects.

Many times, job shadowing programs can also be prep visits to build partnerships between the sending and the hosting schools for mobility of students.

The experience of job shadowing

JUMP prefers small numbers for job shadowing because it’s important to ensure quality and to guarantee that the classes hosting international teachers can afford to have extra people during daily activities.

The scope of job shadowing is not to live a special and perfect week in another school but to live the real school life in a normal period of the year including problems, stressful deadlines and busy times.
