Adults learners are a new target strongly supported by the Erasmus Plus program.

They can be over 18 years old – but still young students – attending second chance schools or senior learners up to 99 years old who belong to adult education institutions (second chance schools), involved in learning programs to upgrade their life or professional skills.

JUMP hosted young adults, adults and seniors such as members of Third Age Universities in Europe creating didactic and intercultural programs always combining, at the same time, visits to local partners, economic realities, similar institutions in Italy and cultural excursions

Here 2 of the last examples of our Adult Learners Mobility experiences.

We titled this mobility experience “LET’S MAKE INCLUSION at school. Non-Formal Education is the answer” creating a tailored made program for the kids aged between 9 and 14 years old. During a week’s time we visited local schools where creative local teachers organized very nice activities with the international friends. JUMP furthermore involved the kids in outdoor sessions on global issues and in a workshop to foster literacy (reading and writing skills) and videomaking with the creation of Book Trailers.

Here a video of the icebreaking activity on the terrace of Villa Gabriella International aimed at sharing different cultures. The Finnish group of adult learners danced for us with other participants from Spain, Poland and Germany (teachers attending our training courses).

This mobility was designed on the specific needs of 10 adult learners of a second chance school in Spain aged between 20 and 60 years old. All different people, men and women who studied together to get a diploma. For them to come to Soverato has been the final trip at the end of the school year in June. We developed many activities in nature, working on improvement of language and digital competences, we worked on books and creation of book trailers and we organized several interesting visits.
