course description
Teaching goes beyond delivering knowledge: it also means inspiring, motivating and supporting students in their personal and academic growth. Alongside academic achievement, educators are increasingly called to foster emotional well-being, self-awareness and the transversal competences that help students become confident, responsible and active learners.
This course introduces a mindfulness-based coaching approach that combines practical mindfulness techniques with coaching strategies to enhance students’ self-motivation, emotional competences and leadership skills. Through experiential learning, reflection and collaborative activities, participants will acquire practical tools to create positive learning environments, strengthen students’ resilience and autonomy, and promote a culture of well-being, engagement and lifelong learning.
The purpose of this course is to provide educators with the knowledge, practical tools and coaching techniques needed to support students’ personal, emotional and social development through a mindfulness-based approach. By integrating mindfulness practices with coaching strategies, participants will learn how to strengthen students’ intrinsic motivation, emotional intelligence, resilience and leadership potential.
The course aims to help teachers create positive, inclusive and learner-centred environments where students feel empowered to take responsibility for their learning, manage emotions effectively, build meaningful relationships and develop the confidence to face academic and personal challenges. Participants will also enhance their own coaching competences, learning how to guide students through active listening, powerful questioning, reflective practices and constructive feedback.
By the end of the course, educators will be able to apply practical methodologies that promote well-being, engagement, autonomy and lifelong learning, contributing to the development of responsible, emotionally competent and proactive citizens.

Program
As with all our training programs, this course is flexible and adaptable to specific participants’ needs, taking into consideration their professional background, teaching subjects and previous experience. Following the JUMP Academy methodology, the course combines formal and non-formal education approaches, indoor and outdoor learning activities, and experiential learning opportunities. A strong focus is placed on intercultural learning, promoted through local visits, interactions with schools, educators, students, businesses and community partners. The course encourages participants to connect theoretical knowledge with real-life educational contexts, exploring practical examples and innovative approaches that can be transferred into their own teaching environments. Whenever possible, participants will have the opportunity to visit a local school, observe educational practices and exchange experiences with teachers and students. Working within a European and international framework, JUMP Academy promotes networking, cooperation and the development of future collaborations among educators.
