More than half of European people is overweight or obese. Overweight and obesity are
one of the main causes of death in Europe indeed who is affected by it is more
vulnerable to cardiovascular disease, cancer, and diabetes.

Those disturbances are caused from physical inactivity and from a bad nutrition. We should reduce the consumption of processed, very caloric and nutrient poor foods and eat healthier foods, especially more fruit and vegetables and should not buy meat from factory farms, where animals are treated badly and the meat is often of low quality.

It should also be reduced the time spent on screen-based and sedentary leisure
activities by promoting physical activity. Physical activity is very important and
should be a priority for everyone. Reduces the risk of chronic diseases, such as
diabetes, high blood pressure, back pain or joint pain.

Strengthens muscles and joints and increases the capacity and elasticity of the respiratory system. The benefits obtained with training affect both physical and mental well-being. Physical activity can boost self-esteem, improve mood, improve sleep quality, and reduce the risk of stress and depression.
