During the week from May 24th to May 31st, 2026, Jump Association hosted a German teacher for the “Natural Born Teacher” topic, aimed at promoting teachers’ psychophysical well-being, developing skills related to mindfulness and stress management, as well as encouraging intercultural exchange and the sharing of educational best practices at a European level.
Throughout the week, several training and workshop activities were carried out, starting on Monday afternoon with a get-to-know-each-other and ice-breaking activity, useful for creating an atmosphere of trust and collaboration among the participants. In the following days, topics such as effective communication, empathy in the school environment, innovative teaching methodologies, and the importance of emotional balance in the teaching profession were explored through workshops, group work, and moments of intercultural exchange.
Outdoor days and activities in contact with nature were also organized, with the aim of rediscovering the essence of personal well-being, promoting relaxation, and learning useful techniques to release the stress accumulated in daily working life. These experiences allowed participants to reconnect with themselves, improving self-awareness, emotional balance, and team spirit.
During the activities, the topic of Ikigai was also addressed — the Japanese concept related to finding one’s purpose in life and achieving balance between passions, skills, the needs of the world, and personal fulfillment. Through moments of individual reflection and collective sharing, participants had the opportunity to deepen their self-awareness and reflect on their personal and professional paths.
The experience represented an important opportunity for personal and professional growth both for the German participant and for the hosting organization, strengthening the value of non-formal learning, intercultural exchange, and European cooperation.
