My name is Petar Grozdanov, a 23-year-old from North Macedonia with a background in Graphic Design. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration at Euro College in Kumanovo. I’m someone who has always been driven, not only by ambition but by a desire to create something meaningful, lasting, and impactful on a global scale.
That vision led me to Soverato, a charming coastal town in southern Italy, where I’m spending three transformative months as part of a long-term Erasmus+ internship with CTE srl Company and JUMP Association. This experience has been much more than just a professional opportunity, it’s been a journey of growth, discovery, and clarity about who I am and the future I want to build.
My professional background is diverse. I’ve worked in data entry for a leading U.S. pharmaceutical company and developed a strong portfolio in graphic design and photography. These roles taught me precision, creativity, discipline, and the importance of detail. But deep down, I always felt the urge to stretch beyond my comfort zone, to seek challenges that would shape me into the entrepreneur and leader I aspire to become.
That hunger for growth brought me to JUMP Association, an innovative organization specializing in Erasmus+ Teacher Training, Project and Design Management, and educational innovation across Europe. Here, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects involving education, social impact, digital communication, and international collaboration.
My daily work includes content creation, event organization, project coordination, and strategic communication planning. This dynamic environment has sharpened not only my technical and organizational skills but also my ability to work within multicultural teams and adapt to fast-paced, real-world challenges.
What truly sets this internship apart is its long-term structure. Unlike shorter Erasmus exchanges, this extended stay has given me time to fully immerse myself in Italian culture and work life. I’ve been able to build deeper relationships, take on more responsibility, and see real progress in the projects I contribute to. It’s an experience that has offered not just learning, but transformation.
Equally important are the people who made this journey memorable. From day one, the team at JUMP, Pietro, Erika, Ylenia, Giusy, and Enza, welcomed me with open arms. Their warmth, support, and trust made me feel not like a guest, but like a valued team member. Working alongside them has been both professionally enriching and personally inspiring.
This experience has not only helped me grow as a professional but has also given me greater clarity about my long-term goals. I’ve realized that I don’t just want a good career, I want to build a global company, a strong brand rooted in innovation, creativity, and real-world impact. For me, business is not just about profit, but about purpose, excellence, and values.
Every skill I’m learning, every connection I’m making, and every challenge I’m facing is a step on the road toward that vision.
What drives me is not routine or safety, it’s the constant desire to evolve, create, and make a mark. This internship hasn’t just been an experience; it’s been a stepping stone toward the legacy I want to build.
Looking ahead, I plan to continue investing in my education, expanding my international network, and refining the skills I need to achieve my entrepreneurial goals. Soverato has shown me what’s possible when you leave your comfort zone, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything this chapter has given me: new friends, deeper insight, and renewed motivation.
To anyone considering an Erasmus internship: go for it, and if you can, choose the longer path. Time brings depth. And depth brings real transformation.
This could be more than just a trip. It could be your turning point. It certainly was mine.
I hope reading this article has motivated you as much as it motivated me, to step out of your comfort zone and pursue bigger things.
