To celebrate the European Year of Digital Citizenship Education 2025/2026, Jump Association launches the 3rd Edition of the creative contest “Let’s Book Trailers. Reading, cinema and magic at school”, organized in collaboration with Euro.Soul Festival, an event that combines culture, cinema and digital innovation. This year it involves a different international delegation, confirming young people’s strong interest in reading, creativity and digital content production.
Students from different European countries are working on their Book Trailers, short videos promoting books through images, text and music. The Contest encourages participants not only to rediscover the joy of reading, but also to develop digital and media skills that are really important for the future generations.
The participating delegations contribute to creating a network of young digital citizens, promoting cultural exchange between European countries and improving linguistic and cultural diversity of the continent. At the same time, the projects will promote the european platform created by Jump, available at https://europeanbooktrailers.eu/
Countries participating in this edition include:
- Germany
- Spain
- Bulgaria
- Lithuania
- Italy
- Greece
- Estonia
- Hungary
All students are currently preparing their videos, which will be submitted in the next few weeks. Each Book Trailer will present a different story, chosen by participants and interpreted through their creativity and imagination.
The best works will be awarded during the 10th Edition of Euro.Soul Festival, which celebrates Europe and its cultural diversity. Winners will be announced during the festival events in Soverato, in May 2026, with a winner per delegation and an absolute european winner.
Through this international collaboration, the contest continues to promote reading, creativity and intercultural dialogue among young Europeans. An initiative that proves how books can become a bridge between different cultures and a tool to join students across Europe.
