The unforgettable experiences of the Euro.Soul Festival 2026 reached new heights in Calabria. Step by step, JUMP accompanied the Slovak team through inspiring activities, deep reflections, and meaningful moments of sharing with youth from other nations.
Below is the official diary of this seventh day. While all the Slovak students actively contributed to collecting these memories, this report was carefully written and finalized by Kristián Horňák.
Day 7: Fake News Workshops, Sustainable Games, and Gospel Music
That day marked the exciting third day of the Euro.Soul Festival! The first group visited the IIS Guarasci-Calabretta school in Soverato together with students from Lithuania, Spain, and Italy. At the beginning, we had a small lecture about the “Fake News Busters” project. Then, the students were divided into smaller groups, where each team had to work in one of the participating countries.
After the activities at school, we moved outside, where we played the “GoGoals” game together. The students learned about the Sustainable Development Goals in a fun and very international way!
After lunch, we had a joint tour to Soverato Superiore, where we visited the church that houses a famous statue created by Antonello Gagini, a student of Michelangelo. After the tour of the church, we enjoyed a moving performance by the New Vision Gospel Choir. Meanwhile, the second group prepared the materials and decorated the space for the afternoon program.
