If at first AI was confined to being studied and understood in laboratories, this is no longer the case. There are numerous conferences, events, and festivals – at a global level – dedicated to artificial intelligence. Here, experts, institutions, and companies meet to discuss developments, future challenges, and applications.
These fairs are important because they are not only technological exhibitions, but real crucial meeting points for defining industrial trends, discussing regulatory policies, and launching new collaborations on a global scale.

Some key reference events are:
• World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) – Shanghai: its focus is on industrial AI, security, and smart cities;
• AI for Good Global Summit – Geneva: an event organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) that focuses on the use of AI for social objectives and sustainable development;
• NeurIPS: one of the most prestigious conferences in the world, with over 10,000 participants; during this event, the most advanced scientific papers on machine learning and deep learning are presented.
