“Everyone should learn to program a computer, because it teaches you how to think” – The importance of CODING

According to Steve Jobs, “Everyone should learn to program a computer, because it teaches you how to think”

By definition, “code” refers to a set of instructions that tells a computer what to do. Computers don’t understand human language, so over time, humans have created languages that computers can understand. And developers speak to them through those languages.
Learning to code has many benefits. First and foremost, it is a skill that is highly valued in the workforce and jobs related to computer programming are growing exponentially. Beyond the computer, coding also teaches critical thinking, problem solving, creativity and resilience. Coding is an essential skill for the future because it is an important part of the digital transformation. The number of jobs which require coding skills is growing rapidly because most services are being digitized.

Finally, computer programming or coding is the composition of sequences of instructions, called programs, that computers can follow to perform tasks. It involves designing and implementing algorithms, step-by-step specifications of procedures, by writing code in one or more programming languages.
