From 4 to 9 May 2026, Soverato will host the 10th edition of the Euro.Soul Festival, the international event organised by the JUMP – Gioventù in riSalto Association, which has been celebrating Europe Day since 2013 by bringing training, intercultural exchange and active participation to Calabria.
All previous editions have been held under the patronage of the European Parliament, the European Commission’s Representation in Italy and the Municipality of Soverato, and this year also under the patronage of the National Youth Agency (the Italian agency for the Erasmus+ programme in the youth sector), confirming the educational value and European dimension of the initiative.
Euro.Soul continues to act as a bridge between regions and cultures: international delegations and participants from various European countries (Germany, Spain, Hungary, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Bulgaria) are expected in Soverato, where they will meet students, teachers, institutions and the local community to foster dialogue, skills and civic awareness.
The central theme for 2026 will be the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (Nice, 2000), a cornerstone document of a Europe for its citizens: a theme chosen to place, more than ever, human dignity, equality, solidarity, freedom and the rights of European citizenship at the heart of the common vision for future generations.
The programme includes public events and educational activities in English with schools, intercultural workshops, sports and symbolic initiatives linked to 9 May, with events also dedicated to the values of peace and respect.
Over the coming weeks, we will discover together all the planned activities and the various participants who will bring the European week of the Euro.Soul Festival 2026 to life.
JUMP thus renews its commitment: to internationalise the region throughout the year through European planning and cooperation and, with the Euro.Soul Festival, to offer Calabria an event capable of combining joy, colour and reflection, encouraging increasingly informed and ‘European’ youth participation.
