Energy and Artificial Intelligence

In recent years, artificial intelligence has become increasingly widespread thanks to chatbots, image generators, and other digital tools. However, their operation requires enormous amounts of energy. AI systems are hosted in large data centers that work continuously to process data and respond to users’ requests.

According to several experts, the growth of artificial intelligence could significantly increase electricity consumption in the coming years. For this reason, many companies are investing in renewable energy sources and more efficient technologies. The challenge will be to find a balance between technological innovation and environmental sustainability.
