Breathe, Connect, Give Thanks: The Rhythm of the Circle of Life

On Wednesday, September 24th, Jump had the pleasure of welcoming a group of teachers from Estonia and Lithuania to Soverato, here to take part in two separate training courses.

In the afternoon, the two groups came together for a special outdoor activity designed to reconnect with the deep bond between human beings and nature. The central theme of the session was the Circle of Life, understood as the natural cycle of life, learning, and personal transformation.

The Circle of Life represents the continuous flow of birth, growth, transformation, and renewal. In an educational context, this translates into a journey where every experience has value, every mistake is an opportunity, and every encounter brings enrichment.

Surrounded by nature, participants were guided through a collective moment of reflection aimed at fostering awareness, a sense of connection with the natural elements, and gratitude for the world around us.

Through simple exercises in listening, sharing, and observation, the teachers experienced a more holistic educational approach, where nature is not just a backdrop, but a true protagonist in the learning process.

Despite linguistic and cultural differences, the group’s energy created a genuine sense of community. The emotions expressed, along with the beauty of the natural setting, enabled deep communication—beyond words.

The session ended with an open sharing of experiences, where many participants expressed surprise at the simplicity and effectiveness of the activity. A powerful reminder of how important it is to pause, breathe, and observe — even, and especially, in an educational context.
